The Shire of Denmark has approved a development application for a new shopping centre at Lot 50, on the corner of Hardy Street and South Coast Highway, with key conditions to ensure infrastructure, environmental values, and the vibrancy of our Town Centre are protected.

The Shire of Denmark has adopted its 2025/2026 Annual Budget, reaffirming its commitment to delivering services and infrastructure aligned with community priorities.

The residents of Springdale now have a new way of safely accessing the Denmark townsite, with today’s opening of the completed South Coast Highway (Springdale Beach) Shared Path connecting Woodward Heights to the existing path at the Denmark Cemetery.

Council proposes to partially close and modify the traffic flow direction of Mitchell Street, in the Denmark townsite, to restrict the traffic flow direction to one-way, moving from west to east, from Price Street to Strickland Street.

The South Coast Highway (Springdale Beach) Shared Path project between Denmark Cemetery and Woodward Heights, Springdale is approaching completion, with the pouring of its final pavement surface of red concrete and red asphalt marking an exciting milestone for this important community project.
