The Shire of Denmark Council has paved the way for more accessible community services and better use of local facilities by endorsing a series of exciting relocations that will strengthen service delivery of the Denmark Library and Denmark Arts, ensuring our community continues to benefit from these integral public spaces.

The Shire of Denmark advises that Stage 2 of the Mount Shadforth Road Reconstruction Project is scheduled to commence shortly. This work forms part of the broader road reconstruction project along Mount Shadforth Road, and involves significant upgrades to improve road safety, resilience and overall driving conditions along this important local route.

Reaffirming our commitment to creating an accessible and inclusive community, the Shire of Denmark’s new five-year Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) 2024–2029 was endorsed by Council, setting out ambitious goals to remove barriers and ensure people with disability have equal access to Shire services, facilities, information, and employment opportunities.
