The public comment period for the Shire of Denmark’s draft Sustainable Tourism Strategy is set to be extended for another 14 days to close on Friday 6 August.
“Council is committed to providing our community with more time to consider this important document,” Shire of Denmark Chief Executive Officer David Schober said.
“It means we’ve now moved the deadline for public comment submissions back by a fortnight and we hope to receive additional feedback during the course of the comment period.”
Both the draft Sustainable Tourism Strategy and Visitor Servicing Fact Sheet are available for download on the Shire’s Your Denmark page or on request from the Shire of Denmark Administration Building.
Public comments may be submitted online via Your Denmark or in writing to the CEO via email enquiries@denmark.wa.gov.au or via letter PO Box 183, Denmark WA 6333.
