Demolition of existing and Construction of new Seawall at Ocean Beach (Denmark WA)
The Shire of Denmark is seeking Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to deliver the replacement of the timber retaining seawall at Ocean Beach (Denmark WA).
The Scope of Works includes:
- Demolition of the existing boat shed and timber retaining wall and removal of materials from site.
- Stockpile and sort existing rock scour protection onsite for re-use.
- Temporary works.
- Construction of the new Seawall including:
o Supply and installation of steel piles for the Retaining Wall.
o Supply of materials and installation of the Retaining Wall including walers, vinyl sheet piles, geofabric and jarrah cladding.
o Rock scour protection.
o Backfill and compaction.
- Beach and dune renourishment, including beach scraping.

Site Briefing
There will be a Tender Briefing/Site Inspection. Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory.
Details: Onsite at Ocean beach Denmark WA, Wednesday 25 October, 2023, 2pm.
Contractors planning to attend should advise the Shire at enquiries@denmark.wa.gov.au
Deadline:
The deadline for tender submissions 2.00pm, Wednesday 8 November 2023.
Lodgement:
It is the Shire of Denmark’s preferred method that the Tender submission be uploaded electronically through the Shire's E-tendering portal https://portal.tenderlink.com/denmark However, submissions may alternatively be delivered by hand in accordance with the request document instructions.
The lowest price or any Tender will not necessarily be accepted. A Tender that is not lodged with the Shire before the Tender deadline will not be considered for evaluation.
Canvassing of any Shire of Denmark Councillors or Officers will disqualify Tenderers from the Tender process.
