At the 28 April 2026 Ordinary Council Meeting, Council agreed to amend the 2025/2026 Schedule of Fees and Charges to include a tariff for ‘Electric Vehicle Charging – Strickland Street DC Charger’.
The following fee has been adopted and will be included in the 2025/26 Fees & Charges Schedule.
- Duration and Energy Tariff at a rate of $0.55 p/kWh between the hours of 9pm – 5pm (off peak) and $0.65 p/kWh between the hours of 5pm – 9pm (peak) + $1.00 per minute idle fee after a grace period of 10 mins after 100% charging state has been reached.
The new fee will come into effect 7 days from the date of this notice in readiness for the upcoming completion of installation.
