The Shire of Denmark’s annual Youth Fest is just around the corner, with the popular local event set to be held at McLean Sports Precinct on Wednesday 15 April from 11am to 3pm.

This year’s all-ages Youth Fest event caters to all interests and abilities, featuring a variety of activities and attractions, including:

  • Dunk Tank
  • Ice Cream Truck
  • Inflatable Darts
  • Lego Stations
  • Lawn Games
  • Face Painting by MIKI
  • Chill Out and Sensory Zones, and much more.

In addition to these fun activities, support agencies such as Denmark Community Resource Centre, Headspace, and Holyoake, as well as our own Shire Rangers will be on-site, providing education and information to local youth, their parents, guardians and caregivers.

At our listening post, Shire Councillors will be available to hear young community members’ thoughts and ideas about the future needs of our community.

All community members are encouraged to come along and be a part of this vibrant celebration of our youth, supported by the Department of Communities.

Running from 10 to 16 April, Youth Week WA is a State-wide opportunity for young people aged 10-25 to be recognised for their valuable contributions to the social, cultural, and economic life of Western Australia.

This year's theme, "Strength in Our Stories," recognises the power of the diverse backgrounds and lived experiences of our youth. The values they shape inspire us to create change, overcome challenges, and contribute to personal growth, social impact and stronger communities.
