The 2025 Unrestricted Burning Season is coming to an end, with the Shire of Denmark entering the Restricted Burning Period tomorrow, Saturday 1 November.
The Minutes from the Special meeting of Electors, held on Thursday 11th September, are now available.
The Shire of Denmark is encouraging all residents to prepare early for the upcoming bushfire season, with the 2025/2026 Firebreak and Property Management Notice (FPMN) arriving in mailboxes this week.
Looking ahead to the 2025/2026 summer, our Rangers are once again offering their free ‘Book a Ranger’ service, which allows community members to make an appointment with a Ranger to review the property maintenance requirements in the annual Firebreak and Property Management Notice.
The Shire of Denmark is requesting quotes for the treatments in the Spring 2025 (MAF 2425R2) Program, which are expected to be completed by 1st November 2025.
The end of the Restricted Burning Period doesn't mean we should be complacent about the risk of fire.
