Nigel Marsh has stepped down from his appointment as the Chief Bush Fire Control Officer.
The Shire thanks Nigel for stepping into the role and appreciates the commitment he showed during his time in the position.
In accordance with the Bush Fires Act 1954, Mark Guerin has been appointed as the Chief Bush Fire Control Officer, effective from 5 May 2025.
The jurisdiction for this appointment is the entire Shire of Denmark local government area.
