The Shire Administration Building, Recreation Centre, Library and Depot will be closed from 24 December 2025 to 5 January 2026.
The Shire Administration Building, Recreation Centre, and Depot will close for the Christmas and New Year's break from midday on Wednesday, 24 December.
The Library will be closed
all day on Wednesday, 24 December.
Rec Centre members with 24-hour gym access will still be able to enter the gym with their FOB Keys.
All facilities will reopen on Monday, January 5, 2026.
Community members will not be able to access face-to-face services, such as transport services, during this time.
If you have urgent transport enquiries, the Department of Transport branch in Albany will remain open during this time, excluding official public holidays. They will be closed on the 25th and 26th of December, as well as the 1st of January 2026.
While we are closed, our Report It forms will not be monitored. If you need to report something to the Shire over the holiday break, call us directly on 9848 0300 to be put through to our after-hours service.
If you need to report a fire or life-threatening emergency, call 000 or SES Emergency Assistance at 132 500.
