Update on Shire Operations for Monday 7 February

Due to the continuing LEVEL 3 bushfire incident in our Shire, DFES incident command remains in charge of Shire of Denmark facilities.

This means tomorrow, Monday 7 February, there will be changes to our normal day-to-day operations, which may extend into Tuesday 8 February. 

SHIRE OF DENMARK ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

The Shire Administration will be closed to normal business tomorrow Monday 7 February. 

Staff will be in attendance to manage URGENT bushfire related queries and assistance via phone on (08) 9848 0300 and in person at the Shire of Denmark Administration Building at 953 South Coast Highway, Denmark.

DENMARK RECREATION CENTRE

Our Rec Centre will be closed to the public on Monday 7 February AND Tuesday 8 February . Staff will be at the venue, but day-to-day operations and activities will be suspended.

Unfortunately, this means Monday night basketball is CANCELLED this week. We expect to have the venue open again in time for Thursday night basketball, stay tuned for more information. 

Normal operations should resume Wednesday 9 February. Thank you for your understanding.

SHIRE OF DENMARK DEPOT

Our Depot staff are diverted from normal business as they continue to work on assisting the response to the bushfire.

DENMARK PUBLIC LIBRARY and DENMARK TIP

Business will operate AS NORMAL tomorrow.
