Trails of Denmark

Encounter granite outcrops, tall forests and wildflowers, as well as the sheer beauty of Wilson Inlet and coastal scenery.

Sections of the Bibbulmun Track and Mundi Biddi Trail cross through our Shire, and there are a range of brilliant local trails for locals and visitors to enjoy.

These include the Wilderness Ocean Walk (the WOW trail) which stretches between Lights Beach and Ocean Beach, the Harewood Forest Walk Trail which is accessible from Scotsdale Road and the Mount Lindesay Summit Walk. Walks which are easily accessible from town also include the Mokare Trail and the Denmark-Nornalup Heritage Rail Trail, in addition to trails at Mount Hallowell and Monkey Rock. Some of the trails in Denmark are available for download on this Trails of Denmark Map, or via the Department of Parks and Wildlife Southern Forests.

The Denmark Visitor Centre also has plenty of good ideas for how best to see our beautiful region.

Please remember to leave no trace and to take sufficient water with you. It's also a good idea to check the daily Fire Danger Rating before setting out.
