It is hereby notified for public information that the Shire has received an application for Development Approval for the purposes described hereunder:
Proposed Development: TELECOMMUNICATIONS TOWER
Address: NO. 940 (LOT 555) OCEAN BEACH ROAD, OCEAN BEACH
Shire Reference: 2019/148; A5550
Approval is being sought for the installation of a 50 metre high concrete monopole to be mounted with six (6) panel antennas and two (2) parabolic antennas, an equipment shelter and associated ancillary equipment to be contained within a 15m x 20m fenced compound.
The development is proposed on land Reserved for the purpose of “Public Use – Wind Energy Facility” under the Shire of Denmark Town Planning Scheme No.3 (TPS No.3). As part of the assessment process this development application is being advertised for public comment in accordance with Schedule 2, Part 8, Clause 64 of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.

Comments on the proposal should be lodged with Planning Services, in writing (email is acceptable) on or before close of business on Friday 6 March 2020.
Please note that any comments received may be referred to the applicant to provide them with an opportunity to address the issues raised in the first instance (NB: names and contact details are removed at this point in time). Should the proposal be referred to Council for determination, all comments will be made publicly available at that time, which may include submitter details.
This proposal is available for inspection in order to provide an opportunity for public comment as part of the Shire’s assessment process of the proposal.
