Periodic Review of Local Laws

The Shire of Denmark is reviewing two current local laws in accordance with the provisions of section 3.16 of the Local Government Act 1995.  The local laws are –

1. Activities on Thoroughfares and Trading in Thoroughfares & Public Places Local Law
2. Local Laws Relating to Fencing (as amended)

A copy of the local laws may be inspected or obtained by –

• contacting the Shire Office on 9848 0300 during office hours
• from our website at by clicking on the local law titles above; or
• email to claire.thompson@denmark.wa.gov.au 

Written submissions about the local laws or suggested changes may be made to the CEO, and must be received by 4.00pm, Friday, 20 January 2023.
