The Shire is seeking expressions of interest from interested community members to fulfil the role of ‘independent person’ on the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Selection Panel.
About the Role:
The role of the independent person is to provide an impartial perspective to the recruitment process.
The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to complement those of the existing panel members and the ability to participate and contribute constructively to the recruitment process.
It is an honorary role with reimbursement of costs for travel and meals, as applicable and reasonable.
A copy of the CEO Selection Panel’s Terms of Reference and the Application Form can be found below or by contacting the Shire of Denmark Governance Coordinator.
How to Apply:
Please read the Terms of Reference and complete an Application Form.
Applications are to consist of:
- A completed Application Form
- A resume (no more than four pages)
- Evidence of any qualifications
- Contact details of two referees
It is optional to provide a cover letter (no more than one page) outlining interest and substantiating details. All applications are to be marked confidential.
The Elected Member Panel Members will consider all applications and make a recommendation to the Council for formal appointment.
Applications close Friday, 12 May 2023 at 4.00pm and are to be submitted to the attention of Shire of Denmark Governance Coordinator Claire Thompson by email to enquiries@denmark.wa.gov.au.
Alternatively, applications can be hand delivered to the Administration Office at 953 South Coast Highway, Denmark.
