Denmark Public Library members now have free access to an online interactive foreign language learning platform, Transparent Language Online (TLO).
The library has a subscription to TLO with more than 140 language options available with online learning structured through practice activities in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
There are lessons to follow, vocabulary goals and tests to measure your progress.
The TLO language platform is available on Apple iOS and Android apps, allowing the user to have easy mobile access to online learning.
Denmark Public Library Senior Librarian Robyn Fairclough encouraged library members to have a look at the language platform.
“This could be the perfect time to brush up on existing language skills, or learn new ones, ready for when the world can get back to travel and visiting other countries,” Robyn said.
“It is easy to set up a TLO account using your Denmark Public Library membership, and there is also a version for children.”
KidSpeak has fun activities and puzzles aimed at children six years and up, in six different languages.
