Event applications for charitable organisations and community groups or associations will be processed at no charge. 

A fee of $185 is applicable to all government authorities, commercial organisations and businesses.

Structures and Facilities

Please note:

  1. Public Building Forms (Form 1 and Form 2) are required by the Shire Environmental Health Officer for approval 4 weeks prior to the event if the following are being installed:
    • Stage with a height of 1m above ground level (including steps) and Spectator Stand
    • Enclosed fabric marquees and tents with a floor area of greater than 55m2
    • Amusement ride (including bouncy castle)
    • Sea Container
  1. A Certificate of Structural Adequacy must be completed by the practicing structural engineer or the hirer on the day of an event when large temporary structures are erected. This includes stages over 1m above ground level, spectator stands, tiered seating and all marquees with a floor area greater than 10m2. This should be retained by the event organiser and a copy emailed to info@denmark.wa.gov.au within 48 hours post event. Applicants may provide their own certificate of structural adequacy or use the certificate of structural adequacy provided by the Shire of Denmark
