About the Opportunity:

We seek a highly organised and detail-oriented Records Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about information management and ensuring accurate record-keeping practices across the organisation.

You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity, security, and accessibility of both physical and digital records, ensuring compliance with the State Records Act, Freedom of Information Act, and other relevant legislation. Your role will support operational efficiency, contribute to the continuous improvement of our records management systems, and maintain confidentiality and data privacy standards.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and data integrity
  • Has strong knowledge of records and information management principles, including retention and disposal schedules
  • Is proficient in using electronic document and records management systems (EDRMS)
  • Can work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Communicates clearly and professionally.
  • Is proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficient recordkeeping practices
  • Can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Hours:  Part-time (64 hours per fortnight).

Salary:  $69,904.00 per annum (FTE) and up to 17% superannuation, plus additional benefits.
