The Opportunity
We are seeking a Machine Operator / General Hand to join our Infrastructure & Assets business unit. This role supports civil works across the Shire, including road maintenance, footpaths, trails, and cycleways.
About You
You will be someone who:

Is a skilled and qualified machine operator (excavator and backhoe experience preferred)

Is willing and able to undertake labouring duties as required

Is physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks
-
Works well in a team environment and contributes positively to workplace culture

Demonstrates a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Qualifications

HR Driver’s Licence – Required

HC Licence – Desirable

Plant Operating Tickets – Preferred

Construction Card – Required

Hours: Full-time (76 hours per fortnight, 9-day fortnight) Salary: $69,784 per annum plus up to 17% superannuation, along with additional allowances and benefits
