About the Opportunity:

In this support role, you will assist the Employee Support & Culture Coordinator in the full spectrum of human resources (HR) operations—including workforce planning, labour relations, policy development, talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and the administration of work health and safety.

As a trusted advisor to all employees, you’ll help foster a workplace culture grounded in our values. You’ll play a key role in supporting the health, well-being, and safety of our staff, and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation across the organisation

We’re looking for someone who;

  • Has experience in human resources, with a strong commitment to promoting and supporting work health and safety, and wellbeing.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to deliver training and prepare complex reports.
  • Excels in organisation and time management, with meticulous attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Brings advanced administrative skills and is proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS/HRMS systems and local government is highly regarded.
  • Embraces new responsibilities, supports colleagues, pursues continuous learning, and contributes to organisational improvement.
  • Is passionate about promoting diversity, equality, and belonging.

Hours:   Part-time 48 hours per fortnight

Salary:  $77,100 per annum (full-time equivalent), plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions.
