About the Opportunity:
Are you passionate about bringing people together and making a real impact in your community? We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Community Development Officer to help design, coordinate, and deliver programs and activities that strengthen local connections and improve community wellbeing.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Will be responsible for managing events, facilitating workshops, running regular programs, and working side-by-side with residents and local groups. You’ll be the driving force behind initiatives that support inclusion, participation, and engagement across a range of community sectors.
- Is energetic, organised, and enjoys being hands-on, someone who can both plan and deliver engaging activities with confidence and creativity.
- Will focus on supporting youth, seniors, and people with disabilities by identifying community needs, fostering partnerships, and promoting active participation in community life.
- Will have a strong commitment to social justice, an understanding of issues affecting young people, seniors, and people with disabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Will identify funding opportunities and prepare grant applications to support community initiatives.

Hours: Full-time (76 hours per fortnight).
Salary: $77,100.00 per annum and up to 17% superannuation, plus additional benefits.
