Environmental Health

The Shire's Environmental Health Service is responsible for a large and diverse field.

It regulates and is responsible for approving and licensing a wide variety of operations within the Shire such as;

  • Caravan Parks
  • Food Premises
  • Wineries
  • Hairdressers
  • Catteries & Kennels
  • Offensive Trades
  • Public Events
  • Public Buildings
  • Stall Holders & Trades
  • Temporary Food Stalls
  • Effluent Disposal
  • Water & Food Sampling
  • Meat Inspections

The Shire's Environmental Health Service also works closely with many other Agencies in providing its service including the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) and the Department of Health.
