Grants for Conservation of Natural Heritage
Lotterywest provide grants to conserve natural habitats and maintain the diversity of animal and plant species. Examples of project activities include: planting local species of trees and vegetation; linking areas of vegetation with bush corridors; fencing remnant vegetation and wetlands; and, controlling weeds, animals, dieseas and fire. State NRM Program
Over $4 million in funding is available to groups including schools, not-for-profit organisations and environment groups via the 2016-17 Natural Resource Management (NRM) grants program. Grants of between $5,000 and $55,000 are available through the Community Action Grants to support natural resource management activities. Grants of between $1,000 and $10,000 are available through the Community Capability Grant for small projects which can be implemented over the next 12 months. Applications for the Community Action Grants close noon on Monday 6 September 2016. The Community Capability Grants close Monday 29 May 2017, but may close earlier if fully subscribed.
