Have Your Say – Draft Privacy Statement (Closed)

Council are seeking comments on a draft Privacy Statement that outlines how the Shire of Denmark collects information about its customers and stakeholders in the performance of its services and functions and as required by law.
The draft Privacy Statement also outlines how this information will be used by the Shire and instances where this information may be disclosed.
The Shire of Denmark views the protection of an individual’s privacy as an integral part of our commitment to being a high functioning, open, transparent, ethical and responsive organisation. The draft statement seeks to balance the privacy of customers and stakeholders with the requirement to disclose information to contracted third party providers who provide services for the Shire of Denmark.

Written submissions regarding the draft Privacy Statement are encouraged and can be:
- Emailed to enquiries@denmark.wa.gov.au;
- Posted to PO Box 183, Denmark WA 6333; or
- Delivered in person to the Shire Administration Office at 953 South Coast Highway, Denmark.
All comments regarding the draft Privacy Statement are due by close of business Friday, 31 May 2019.
