Youth Outreach

Denmark Youth Outreach is a free support service available to young people between 12-18 years living in the Shire of Denmark who may be in crisis or experiencing a difficult journey through adolescence.

Operating three days a week, Denmark Youth Outreach provides early intervention support to young people to prevent and address crises. Referrals can be directly from young people themselves or from any community member or organisation that is aware of a young person who is looking for assistance.

The program provides:

  • Mentoring, relationships and information to enhance young people’s health and well-being
  • Advocacy, referrals and support to access specialist services, including Albany Youth Support Association (AYSA) homelessness services

This service is funded by the Shire of Denmark and managed by AYSA.
