The ACROD parking bay in front of the Denmark Pharmacy will be getting an upgrade on Thursday 14th May 2020, to improve access for people with disability. The works are expected to be completed by Monday 18th May 2020. An alternate ACROD parking bay will be made available in front of the Denmark Pharmacy, for people with disability.
Upgrades will include mountable and flush kerbing and red asphalt for greater visibility.
The upgrade was developed in consultation with Shire of Denmark Council's Disability Services Advisory Committee, which identified this parking bay as a priority for access improvements.
The parking improvements works are part of the Shire’s commitment to improve access and inclusion for all as outlined in the Shire's Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.
To minimise disruption while construction is underway an alternative bay will be temporarily made available for people with disability. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during construction.
