The Shire Administration Office, Recreation Centre, Public Library and Works Depot will be closed over the Christmas period commencing noon Thursday 24 December 2020 and reopening Monday 4 January 2021.
Waste Management
There is no change to the scheduled recycling rubbish pick up on Friday 25 December 2020 but general waste will be collected on Saturday 26 December 2020. Denmark Waste Transfer Station and Peaceful Bay Refuse Site will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Ranger Services
Rangers will be available for Council local law enforcement matters and can be contacted via the after-hours call service on (08) 9848 0300.
Emergencies
If you need to report a life threatening emergency please contact Triple Zero (000). Remember to stay calm, avoid shouting, speak slowly, clearly, and tell the operator exactly where to come by giving an address or location. Visit emergency.wa.gov.au to be aware of the daily fire danger and choose activities to suit. If no fires are listed in the area and you see smoke call 000.
