BUSH FIRES ACT 1954 | NOTICE OF PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD
In accordance with section 17 (7) & (8) of the Bush Fires Act 1954 and in accordance with delegated authority under section 17 (10) of the Bush Fires Act 1954. Shire of Denmark would like to advise that the “Prohibited Burning Period” is being extended for a period of 14 days, from 29 February 2020 to 14 March 2020 inclusive.
This means that no burning in the open air may occur during the above mentioned period and no permits to burn will be issued.
