We are seeking expressions of interest from Denmark community or sporting groups who would like to host a fundraising sausage sizzle at our Australia Day event.
We are looking at hosting a new look event including a twilight family concert while still meeting current COVID-19 safety requirements.
Subject to COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be held on Tuesday 26 January 2021, at Berridge Park from 4 - 7 pm.
The successful community or sporting group will be required to provide staffing resources to deliver the sausage sizzle at the event. Sausages, bread rolls and other consumables will be provided by the Shire. The sausage sizzle will be provided by gold coin donation. All donations will go towards the group.
Expressions of interest should include:
- Number of members available to assist with the sausage sizzle at the event.
- Previous experience running a sausage sizzle at similar large community events.
- Objective of fundraising
The group will be selected based on member availability, previous experience and need.
The Shire of Denmark will arrange for Covid-19 safety training for the group.
