Julie Janson has a successful career as a playwright, and now works as a novelist and award winning poet. She is a Burruberongal woman of The Darug nation in NSW. Julie is the co-recipient of the Oodgeroo Noonuccal Poetry Prize 2016 and winner of the Judith Wright Poetry Prize 2019.

The Light Horse Ghost follows the life of Iris, a sixteen year old girl and her family in Boulder Kalgoorlie and the home coming of her father Albert from 1918 to 1921.  A ghost of a horse has followed Albert home….
