3rd Annual Bushfire Ready Weekend

Day 1: Bushfire Ready Sundowner

Join us at 5pm on Friday 1 November 2024 for the launch of Bushfire Preparation season at The DAM.

Keynote addresses from the Minister of Emergency Services, one of our aerial fire spotter staff, and a seasonal conditional outlook for the coming summer.

Day 2: Community Information Day and Emergency Services Vehicle Display

On Saturday morning 2 November in Denmark townsite CBD, follow the yellow brick road from one emergency services vehicle to the next, collecting valuable bushfire survival information along with stickers and prizes for children.

See the old and the newest vehicles. Bushfire Fighters Museum are bringing down some historical vehicles to compare with the latest and greatest.

Then, come along to the Civic Centre and/or RSL 1pm on Saturday 2nd November to find out how you can Be Bushfire Ready.

Day 3: Bushfire Ready Brigade Games

Bushfire Ready Brigade Games will be a lot of fun to watch on Sunday, 3 November from 10am at the Denmark Senior High School oval.
