About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a suitably experienced individual to fill the Community Development Officer position within the Community Services Team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion to work in Community Development, Youth and Senior Services and Disability Services.  This is a six-month full-time contract with the possibility of an extension.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being and engagement of our community.
  • Will focus on supporting youth, seniors, and people with disabilities by identifying community needs, fostering partnerships, and promoting active participation in community life.
  • Will have a strong commitment to social justice, an understanding of issues affecting young people, seniors, and people with disabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.

The Benefits:

  • An attractive salary of $80,000.00 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation.
  • Additional superannuation co-contribution up to 5%, which can be salary sacrificed.
