Status:                        Part-time 0.80 FTE (64 hours per fortnight)


Salary Package:     Salary of up to $57,000 per annum (full-time equivalent and dependent on experience), plus up to 15% Superannuation and additional benefits.

We’re looking for someone who can;

  • Provide a high level of administrative support for the Community Services team (this includes Emergency Management, Ranger Services, Parry Beach Volunteer Management Group, Community Development, Recreation and Library Services).
  • Identify and interpret relevant legislation.
  • Understand compliance requirements and evidence gathering.
  • Use their initiative to problem-solve.
  • Deliver a high standard of interpersonal and communication skills, bringing a high level of customer service to a diverse range of community members and multi-skilled teams within the Shire of Denmark.
  • Multi-task and prioritise competing workloads with solid time management skills.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in computing skills and can efficiently operate a range of computer systems.
  • Be solution-focused, have a ‘can do attitude’ and operate strategically.
  • Look for opportunities to innovate.
  • Be a part of strong team culture and demonstrate the ability to multi-task within the team.
