The effects of human induced global Climate Change has emerged in recent years as increasingly impacting upon biodiversity. It has become paramount for us in the developed world to act as leaders in the global community to implement sustainable practices, mitigation actions, and adaptation strategies to address impacts from climate change.
The Shire of Denmark has a Climate Change Advisory Committee who are developing a Climate Change Action Plan for the Shire to act as a leader to the broader Denmark Community. The CCAC aim to promote achievable practical activities for Council and the Denmark community in reducing our carbon footprint.
